Anastasia leads operations at EcoShade with a focus on the carbon credit and cooperative aggregation pathway that lets a 4-hectare farmer participate in voluntary carbon markets normally reserved for industrial scale. She previously structured cooperative finance programmes at the Caucasus Carbon Initiative and ran MRV (Measurement, Reporting, Verification) pilots for olive growers in Greece and Spain.
She writes the EcoShade research notes on carbon market access for small farms and is a regular speaker at the European Forum for Agricultural Cooperation. Anastasia holds an MSc in Sustainable Land Management and is a Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) auditor.
